Why had it suddenly gotten so cold? Grif would instinctively let out a loud mewl, hungry. He was rather oblivious to the world around him. In fact, his only thoughts were of finding something to eat and someplace warm, nothing complicated. It seemed life would only get more complicated for him now that he was born, and had he been able to understand that fact, he would have majorly protested. Letting out another squeak, he would roll slightly, searching for Avenue, so he could hopefully nurse. Food first. Everything and everybody else could wait until he had a full stomach.

[fancypost bgcolor=; border:0px; width: 450px; font-size: 8pt;text-align:justify; color: white; margin-top: -6px][hr]Griff could be found where he usually was, sprawled out off to the side of camp. He was beside a random house- he hadn't bothered to check and see if it was anybody's-and already had the whole day planned out. Step one- do nothing. Step two- continue to do nothing the rest of the day. It was quite simple, really, as long as he wasn't disturbed, which was really kind of inevitable. Of course, he could deal with bejng disturbed, as long he didn't actually have to do anything. He was just not feeling it today, just like yesterday. And the day before that. And pretty much every day since he had been born. Yawning, the kitten would shake out his fluffy tail and then curl it around himself, prepared to use it as a pillow. Maybe he should go and get an actual pillow, and a blanket, and even some place not outdoors to sleep while he was at it. ...Nah. He was good where he was for the time being, since it wasn't too chilly out today. Stretching out a single back leg, he would twitch his whiskers, ready for dreamland, since he was actually kind of tired, and not just being lazy.

[fancypost bgcolor=; border:0px; width: 450px; font-size: 8pt;text-align:justify; color: white; margin-top: -6px][hr]Grif plopped his bottom down outside of one of the houses nearest the center of camp. He didn't know who the house belonged to (if anyone) but he really didn't care at the moment. Whiskers twitching, the little Soul and Avenue spawn would glance around to see if anyone was about. He didn't want to have to get up to go and find people to come to the meet and greet he would be hosting momentarily. Lashing his tail awkwardly, the kitten would call out, "YO! YOU KNOW YOU WANNA COME MEET ME! SO, COME AND GET SOME!" That's how his daddy had taught him to do things, wasn't it? Truth be told, sometimes he didn't really pay attention to things.

[fancypost bgcolor=; border:0px; width: 450px; font-size: 8pt;text-align:justify; color: white; margin-top: -6px][hr]Grif would pop his head up, blinking up at Soul with slight confusion. Rise and shine? That phrase was not in his vocabulary. Of course, since it was his dad, he'd at least make an effort to get rise and shine. Yawning once more, Grif would roll over onto his side in preparation of actually getting up. He would groan aloud at his dad's next words. "Do we hafta go on a walk? Not that I don't appreciate one on one daddy time." The tubby kitten would say, sitting up. He was already half up, so there was that. Maybe daddy would be content for them to just sit and do something instead of having to walk.

[fancypost bgcolor=; border:0px; width: 450px; font-size: 8pt;text-align:justify; color: white; margin-top: -6px][hr]Welp. Looks like daddy time wasn't a choice anymore. Not like it ever really was, though. He would blink his large yellow eyes, sort of listening attentively to his father's words. He was gonna get a good education, become a badass hp (whatever that meant). That actually sounded pretty awesome, even if he would probably have to work. Bluh. Grif would perk up as Soul scopped him up onto his back. Really, daddy time was usally quite fun, and Grif didn't mind hanging out with his dad. Soul was like, his best friend practically, which was kind of weird but the kitten didn't care. At least he didn't have to walk to wherever they were going. It was silent for a moment, though when his daddy asked him a question, he would tilt his head. "No- is it gonna be awesome?" Whenever Soul was around it just got automatically awesome, really. That was just the kind of guy his daddy was.

[fancypost bgcolor=; border:0px; width: 450px; font-size: 8pt;text-align:justify; color: white; margin-top: -6px][hr]Greymatter? "That's a funny name you got there, miss. Is your matter grey? Isn't matter like, what we're made of or somethin'?" He would ask curiously, tail lashing. "Your fur is definitely grey." He would observe, batting at her tail. "Eyup, the name's Griffin, but you can just call me Grif." He would add, just before sneezing.

[fancypost bgcolor=; border:0px; width: 450px; font-size: 8pt;text-align:justify; color: white; margin-top: -6px][hr]Grif's jaw would drop open sligntly, eyes staring widely at all the food. Oh man, the chubby kitten sure did love food. Especially doughnuts. Were there any doughnuts around? He sure hoped so. Grif would scan the food tables intently, searching for any signs of the circlely-goodness. Although the male didn't spot any doughtnuts, he did spot Soul, sitting off to himself. Glancing between his dad and the food, he would take a step in the direction of the food, before pausing. Family was supposed to come before food, right? Unless you were starving to death in the wilderness. The kitten would make his way closer to the table where his daddy was, though before reaching it he would swing around and grab some meat. Hey, he wasn't gonna eat it all, and besides, a kid's gotta eat, right? Pricking his ears up, he would drop the fowl down besides Soul, looking up at his daddy expectantly. He seemed sad, which was unlike the awesome parent Grif knew. Maybe food would help him feel better. Food was great.

[fancypost bgcolor=; border:0px; width: 450px; font-size: 8pt;text-align:justify; color: white; margin-top: -6px][hr]Grif would slowly make his way over to stand beside Soul, fur bristling. He was this guy that wanted to see him? It didn't seem like anybody else really liked him that much, so Grif didn't either. The chubby kitten would pin his ears back, listening to all the threatening going on. Had this guy been planning to hurt him or his siblings? Imperial had said he wasn't gonna hurt them, but that didn't mean it was true. Of course, his daddy would definitely protect them, no mwtter what. "Who's this fucker?" The kitten would whisper rather loudly to Soul. A+ parenting. Grif hadn't paid much attention to the conversation, except for the threats of harming and promises of not harming. "He smells funny. He should take a bath."

[fancypost bgcolor=; border:0px; width: 450px; font-size: 8pt;text-align:justify; color: white; margin-top: -6px][hr]Grif would tilt his head at the next female to appear, listening to her introduction. Mysteryjewel? What was such a mystery about jewels? "Jewels don't seem so mysterious to me." The kitten would announce loudly. His attention would be caught by the words of another, as Hotline appeared. Hotline. He knew that name. "Are you the asshole daddy told me about?" He would ask curiously, tilting his head. He was pretty sure it was, though might ws well double check. Blinking in Greymatter's direction, he would release a soft, 'oh'. "The fur part makes sense, but not really the matter." The kitten would point out with a twitch of his whiskers.

[fancypost bgcolor=; border:0px; width: 450px; font-size: 8pt;text-align:justify; color: white; margin-top: -6px][hr]Grif would tilt his head in Stroke's direction, trying to keep up with all the words in her name. "You've got a super long name! It's kinda cool, too." The kitten would say, stretching out a single leg. "It's nice to meet ya'll, anyways." Grif would draw with a friendly smile on his face.
